Lee founded Toogood Financial Systems in 1997 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the firm. Lee began his investment career at the Royal Insurance Company of Canada in 1988. He then went on to help found Burgundy Asset Management Ltd. in 1990, which has since become a very successful investment manager, before moving to Foyston, Gordon & Payne as a partner with ultimate responsibility for trading, operations and equity analysis. Lee has served as a director of Lysander Funds Ltd. since its founding in 2009. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree (Computer Science, Mathematics and Actuarial Science) and was later awarded the CFA charter.

Helen is Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of PortfolioHiWay. Helen started her investment career at Canadian ShareOwner Investments, which was later acquired by Wealthsimple, where she held the roles of VP and CCO and continued to scale digital business operations, working closely with regulators and other fintech businesses. Most recently, she was VP Digital Investment Programs for Canso Investment Counsel. Helen has completed various industry courses, including the CSC, CPH, PDO, CCO, Traders Trading Course, BMC and EMP. She brings more than 20 years of investment industry experience in leading client relations and digital experiences, product and platform development, online trading, compliance, strategic development and scaling businesses. Helen also mentors for Women in Capital Markets and is Co-Lead of the Global Distance Mentorship Program at Women in ETFs.

Brad is Vice Chair, Capital Markets of PortfolioHiWay. In this role, he is responsible for capital markets product delivery to clients. Brad began his career as a fixed income trader with TD Securities and continued to advance within the organization, ultimately occupying different vice president and managing director roles, including Head of Corporate Trading and subsequently as Head of Debt Syndication. He then joined HSBC Securities as Managing Director, Head of Debt Syndication and most recently occupied the role of Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, prior to joining PortfolioHiWay. Brad has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from the University of Western Ontario.

Daniel is the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of PortfolioHiWay. Daniel is a CPA, CA and a securities lawyer with a background in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance. He began his career at Deloitte LLP and then worked at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP after completing his law degree. Daniel’s prior roles also include being the CFO of RIWI Corp., a global trend-tracking and prediction technology firm, CFO of Adriana Resources Inc., a mining company, and a member of the Board of Directors for Geodrill Limited, a drilling company operating in Africa. Daniel has a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.

Bill is President of PortfolioHiWay. Bill spent the last couple of years in private consulting in the areas of operation effectiveness, risk management and regulatory compliance. Prior to that he was with RBC Financial Group for over 25 years where he has held several executive positions leading the AML & Financial Crime, Internal Audit, and Group Risk Management teams for RBC Global Capital Markets, Global Wealth Management, and Investor & Treasury Services. Bill has an MBA from UBC and Bachelor degrees in Business and Law. He has also completed the programs for Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager, Certified Internal Auditor, and industry courses in CPH, PDO, Investment Dealer Supervision.
